We booked this hotel last minute after deciding not to stay at the hotel we'd previously booked (which was dirty and cramped), and we were very pleasantly surprised with the Opera Premier hotel. The rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable and nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent - generous servings and a good range of options. The location was pretty good, easy to walk to night markets etc, and quiet. Staff were nice, and helpful. Very good value for money compared with other places in Luang Prabang. Tip for families: the room above the reception is enormous (with 1 Queen bed and 2 large singles). Great option for those with kids, although note you may hear a little noise from the kitchen below when they start making the breakfasts from 630/7am-ish (but if you're an early riser, this shouldn't bother you!)

I have stayed here twice. In between I visited Muang Ngoi for 3 days and they kindly stored my excess luggage during that time. Great location, a short walk from the night market, the Mekong and other sights. Quiet neighborhood with a few small eateries and family stores nearby. Spacious and nicely furnished room, fairly large bathroom with separate hot shower. Very clean, fresh towels every day. Delicious, freshly prepared breakfast of choice. Friendly and attentive staff. They can also help book LCR train tickets and tours. Loved staying here.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Amazing location, very close to the main attractions. Very new and tastefully decorated rooms that offer great comfort. Shower works perfectly. Very nice and helpful staff. A perfect stay for the price paid. We made use of the laundry service and the motorbike rent both of which was reasonably priced and very easily arranged. Free breakfast offers the “classic” options. Not exciting but it is completely appropriate. One of the best hotels in this price range I stayed in for a long time

Very clean, spacious, well-equipped and newly renovated/well maintained room. Delicious daily breakfast. Kind and respectful staff, who can also arrange transportation to attractions for you at a competitive rate. Quiet part of town and so can get a good night's sleep, yet very easily walkable to good food and attractions. WiFi was good, many plugs indoors and at the outdoor balcony, perfect for getting work done and taking video calls.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are comfortable. The hot water shower is great and gets hot quickly with decent shower pressure and has a separate shower area from the rest of the bath. The TV hooked up to YouTube and Prime. The staff do a good job there. There's some mini-bar options. It's a pretty professional setup. Breakfast was fairly basic but was enough to keep you going for most of the day.
